Rhonda has been singing since she could talk; on stage with her dad at age 3, and singing at local talent shows for school and church. She joined her first band (Southern Comfort) at age 13 and has been in several bands since then including High Point and Alibi. She joined Amarilla around 1984; and soon after, began touring over 20 states. She and male vocalist, Barry Hitt recorded a country duet on the CHARTA Record Label in Nashville. She came off the road in 1987 and started back playing local gigs. She joined BrassTown Ball, which is now known as BRASSTYME, around 1991 and has been with them over 15 years. Rhonda is an artist on the KHP Music label. Rhonda has been NOMINATED for several Carolina Beach Music Awards 2004 - Female Vocalist 2005 - Female Vocalist & New Artist 2006 - Female Vocalist & Blues Song 2007 - Female Vocalist & Blues Song 2007 - Collaboration w/Rickey Godfrey – “Stop, Look, Listen To Your Heart”

She won her first Carolina Beach Music Award in 2006 for Blues Song of the Year, “You Got What It Takes"

She has songs on 4 Carolina Beach Music Award Winning Compilation CD's; all of which were Produced and Engineered by Multiple Award winning producer Keith Houston of KHP Music. 2004 - Love, Laugh, Live – “Walkin’ After Midnight” 2005 - A'int No Doubt About It – “Good Thing” 2006 - Locals Only – “You Got What It Takes” 2007 - Locals Too – “Me and Bobby McGee (dance version)”

She recorded the duet “Stop, Look, Listen” with Multi-Carolina Beach Music Award winner Rickey Godfrey on the KHP Music/Ripete Records compilation Keep On Shaggin’

Rhonda's latest release "Why Am I Crying" is one of her best yet! It’s a cut from the Forever Summer II CD from KHP Music.

She will be releasing her first full CD in the near future on the KHP Music Label.
