Michael continues to improve day by day. We are discovering that even though there are some remarkable improvements that happen early in stroke recovery, they don’t just end after the first couple months. If you take some time to compare Mike to where he was last year you can see how far he has come. He drives, takes the dog out, goes shopping and runs errands any chance he gets. He is using the snow-blower and even walks up my icy driveway better than I can! He still has a tough time with his right hand and talking sometimes but he’s about 90% back due to his hard work and support from his wife. He has regained a majority of his abilities most might think were permanently lost proving what can be done if you never give up. I’m sure in 2010 we will see him get back to 100%. We can’t wait... 2010 is the year for Mike!
